Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Policy.

1. Policy Statement

Corporate Events For Good is committed to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in all aspects of our business operations and supply chains. We recognise our responsibility to act ethically, transparently and with integrity, and we are committed to upholding human rights in line with the Modern Slavery Act 2015.

Modern slavery is a crime and a violation of fundamental human rights. It takes various forms, including slavery, servitude, forced or compulsory labour and human trafficking. We have a zero-tolerance approach to any form of modern slavery.

2. Our Business

Corporate Events For Good delivers purpose-led corporate events across the UK, working with venues, suppliers, charities and freelance event staff. As a socially responsible business, we aim to create positive social impact while maintaining high ethical standards.

3. Our Commitment

We are committed to:

  • Acting ethically and responsibly in all business relationships

  • Ensuring fair working conditions and compliance with employment laws

  • Paying at least the Living Wage wherever possible

  • Supporting suppliers and partners who share our values

  • Protecting vulnerable individuals within our workforce and supply chain

4. Our Supply Chain

Our supply chain includes:

  • Event venues

  • Catering providers

  • Equipment hire companies

  • Freelance event staff

  • Charitable and community partners

We expect all suppliers, contractors and partners to uphold the same standards and to comply with all relevant labour laws and regulations.

5. Due Diligence and Risk Assessment

To reduce the risk of modern slavery, we:

  • Conduct supplier checks proportionate to risk

  • Prioritise working with reputable, values-led suppliers

  • Avoid suppliers where concerns around labour practices are identified

  • Encourage transparency and open communication

We recognise that some areas of the events industry can carry higher risk and remain vigilant in monitoring and reviewing our practices.

6. Reporting Concerns

All employees, freelancers and partners are encouraged to report any concerns related to modern slavery or unethical practices. Reports can be made confidentially and without fear of retaliation.

Any concerns raised will be taken seriously and investigated appropriately.

7. Training and Awareness

We are committed to raising awareness of modern slavery within our organisation. Relevant team members will be provided with guidance to help identify potential risks and understand how to report concerns.

8. Responsibility and Review

Responsibility for this policy sits with the Founder and Directors of Corporate Events For Good. This policy will be reviewed annually and updated as necessary to ensure it remains effective and aligned with best practice.
