Our Gardening Day at Peggy Dodd Day Centre is a purposeful corporate team building event that makes a genuine difference to older people in the Bath community. Teams roll up their sleeves to help regenerate the centre’s garden, creating an accessible, welcoming outdoor space for elderly residents to enjoy.
Guided by experienced staff, participants take on a variety of practical gardening tasks, from planting and tidying to building raised planters designed for ease of use. The day encourages teamwork, wellbeing and connection, offering a refreshing break from the workplace while delivering real community impact. It’s an ideal way for organisations to support CSR and ESG goals, corporate volunteering targets and employee wellbeing, all in a meaningful local setting.
