Our Rags to Riches for Dorothy House team building event turns a real charity challenge into a positive, creative solution. Corporate teams work together to upcycle unwanted clothing into desirable, sellable goods, transforming donations that would otherwise cost the charity money into valuable revenue.
Dorothy House currently spends around £70,000 each year disposing of unsellable items. This event helps reduce that cost while creating new income streams, delivering a genuine win-win.
Participants take on roles across sorting, design, production and branding, encouraging collaboration, creativity and problem solving. Fully facilitated and mobile, the event supports CSR and ESG goals, corporate volunteering targets and employee wellbeing, while delivering measurable financial and environmental impact for Dorothy House.
